Global warming has had scientists searching for answers and the truth of whats going on for years. Many say its not true, but others say that it is, with lots of solid evidence to back them up. Some people think that its just the government trying to make money. Others think that hundreds of plants and animals are at danger, because global warming is just as real as you and me.
Definition of the Issue: Green house gasses and fuel emissions are polluting the earth and the earth's O-zone layer, and then because of all the excess earth is slowly getting warmer because of that. A census was taken in 1993 and says that since 1970 the average earth's temperature has risen one degree F. Even though it is just one degree that can do a lot of harm.
Evidence For:
Evidence of global warming is every were but no where. This is because we are not taking our time to really look at our world and look how it has changed. Another reason for this is because it is practicaly invisible because it is mostly just the air and our ozone layer and the air and the ozone layer is invisible as i said just before.
Evidence Against: We have had record breaking coldest winters in the last few says Stephen Schneider, a Climatologist from Stanford University. Dr. Theodor Landscheidt predicts that the world will slip into another ice age in the year 2030. Lastly Mark Johnson says that profesional scientists and meteorologists have done tests about global warming, but tweaked the results to fit pre-determined exadurated answers in their estimations.
